Trish Smart is a wildly unpredictable nomadic stand-up comedian, writer, artist, and self-proclaimed “vagabond” who’s been crushing stages from Burning Man to international festivals in Thailand, Vietnam, and beyond Trish has lit up Kill Tony with memorable bucket pulls, headlined spots at Riot Comedy Club, and built a cult following through her Patreon, YouTube sets, and toilet art side hustle (yes, really—don’t read into it).

Starting his comedy journey at 18 and performing weekends early on, Mickey built a reputation for raw, raucous, and unfiltered humor, often diving into love, dating, heartbreak, marriage, and the stuff you’re not supposed to say out loud. He gained wider fame as a longtime morning and evening host on 98Rock (WIYY) in Baltimore, co-hosting shows like Mickey, Amelia & Spiegel and earning a loyal following for his quick wit and outspoken style.

It all began when he was 16 years old watching an HBO comedy special featuring David Brenner , he wanted to be a comedian. On a Friday night in November 2006 in Rockville, Maryland, Irwin began to act on that dream. He finally took the stage for the first time. Since then, he has been on stage hundreds of times. He has performed in comedy clubs, bars, and even at his own high school reunion.

His comedy revolves around his family, relationships, religion, and society in general. He was raised in a farming community in upstate New York, by a single Jewish mother household. He blames his mother for his bizarre views on parenting, and his overall outlook on life. He brings an energy to the room that makes audiences laugh wherever he performs. His style can be described as a mix of David Brenner and George Carlin, with a touch of Don Rickles. 

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida he brings characters to the stage that present an outlook on the hardships of life from a gentleman’s perspective. Ivan’s comedy is realistically clever and honest but also focuses on his experiences throughout his child and young adulthood. Although, he grew up in a house full of sisters, his upbringing is the reason for his “Gentleman Comedy”. Ivan started his comedy career in VA Beach while in the NAVY, after residing in Virginia he relocated to the City of Baltimore where he was quickly embraced by the comedy community. He begun to perform at Comedy Clubs and Colleges around the country. In 2017 Ivan became the founder of the Baltimore Comedy Festival hosting 100+ comedians, domestic and international. In 2019 Ivan was selected for Kevin Hart’s “Hart of The City” produced by Comedy Central. Following that accomplishment, he hit the World as a Feature with Norwegian Cruise Lines and performed in over 12 countries. He is also a frequent performer in the DMV area, where he is known as a favorite. In Baltimore he is known for being one of the most diverse comedians on the scene, performing and writing various Sketches while entertaining crowds weekly at his Art of Comedy Showcase/Open Mic Series.   Ivan is also the founder of the Baltimore Comedy Festival which is in its fourth year and host 100 comedians from all over the world performing at over 20 venues in the city each Labor Day week since 2017. Ivan is also a co-founder of the Washington DC Comedy Festival
